I'm sure that everyone has seen one of these "Pixel ID" things floating around somewhere, right?

While I hate most trends, I decided to make one for good old Val. I figured "What the crap, might as well..." :shrug:

Val here isn't a fighter, but when push comes to shove, she won't back down...

Yeah, neither of the pics here are new, heck, the one in the box wasn't even colored by me. I drew it, but it was colored by "Dragonaur". The template for the whole thing wasn't mine either, I forgot who made it...but the credit goes to him/her. :D

EDIT: I made her a bit more...pixelated, like she should be. Also added the "fire work" thingies to take up some of that grey/green background.

EDIT 2: Didn't like the * meter thingies, so I changed it to a bar graph instead. Also changed the style of her name. :D

EDIT 3: Changed the background, those sparklies were driving me bonkers. I prefer the geometric lines I added. Make things less cluttered but they don't leave things bland, in my opinion. :D

I'd like to do one of these too... Just becuase they look fun and I could have a bit of silly good times doing something like this! Anyway she's a great character, awesome work with the pose! :D

Thank ya kindly! And it was pretty fun to do this pic...also kind of frustrating, since it was all copy and pasting of older pics. :D

Maybe someday, I'll actually do a "real" one of these pixel ID thingies.

The only thing I might suggest is to attempt to limit the palette. 8 bit art was generally limited to 256 colors. Or even less. I'm forgetting the exact capacities of those old machines.

True, but I just took older pics and sharpened the edges to make'em pixel-y. Just "testing the water", so to speak. :D

And I think you're actually thinking far higher than 8 bit, more like 32 bit.
